Fatmir Olluri, 52, from Dobraja e Madhe in Lipjan and a former fighter with the Kosovo Liberation Army, has died after suffering gunshot wounds.

The incident was recorded on the evening of August 4 in Lipjan. According to the Kosovo Police, Olluri was found injured and transported to the University Clinical Center of Kosovo for treatment. At the scene, police seized a pistol along with two bullets.
Police announced that on August 5, at around 6:45 p.m., the 52-year-old died as a result of his injuries. By order of the prosecution, his body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine for an autopsy. The case is being investigated as an “Investigation into Death.”
Fatmir Olluri’s death has prompted numerous reactions. Through its chairman, Shukri Buja, the Democratic Party of Kosovo branch in Lipjan expressed its condolences to the Olluri family, emphasizing that he had voluntarily returned from Germany to join the KLA during the war of liberation and had later continued his involvement in public life.
