The Environmental Inspectorate today demolished five unauthorized structures built on public property near Lake Radoniq.

The announcement, accompanied by footage of the operation, was posted on Facebook by acting Environment Minister Fitore Pacolli.
She stressed that natural areas and public property would be resolutely protected, adding that similar operations would also be carried out in the future.
In her full post, Pacolli wrote:
“Five structures built on public property near Lake Radoniq have been demolished!
The Environmental Inspectorate today demolished five structures built without permits on public property at Lake Radoniq. We will resolutely protect public property and our natural areas.
Operations of this kind will continue, with the aim of enforcing the law in every corner of Kosovo and protecting water resources, drinking water sources, and Kosovo’s beautiful natural environment.
Water is a valuable resource that must be preserved for citizens and future generations.”
