During the last 24 hours throughout the territory of Albania, 32 fire outbreaks have been reported. According to the Ministry of Defense, 28 of them have been extinguished, 3 are being monitored, while only one remains active.

426 local and regional operational forces have been engaged to manage the situation, together with 30 firefighting vehicles. The Armed Forces have also contributed on the ground with 92 personnel, 10 vehicles, a drone and an ambulance.
In the Tirana region, the outbreak on Dajti Mountain has been extinguished, where 33 Armed Forces personnel also took part in the intervention a day earlier. The outbreak on Mali me Gropa is also extinguished.
Three outbreaks in the Dibër region, respectively in Lundre-Madhesh of Mat municipality, in Cerrujë of Klos, and in Selishtë, continue to be under surveillance. Authorities inform that none of them currently poses a risk to inhabited areas.
The only active outbreak is located in the village of Gallatë, in the administrative unit of Milot of Kurbin municipality, as it has spread from the territory of Mat municipality. Intervention of vehicles is hampered by the rugged terrain, while no danger is reported for homes in this area.
In the Shkodër region, outbreaks in Porav, Rragam and on Tërbuni Mountain have been extinguished. Likewise, reported outbreaks in Fier-Mallakastër, Elbasan and Korçë have been put out.
The National Civil Protection Agency is continuing to monitor the situation across the country, in cooperation with prefectures, municipalities and Civil Protection structures. Operational forces and capacities remain on the ground and on standby for any intervention, with the priority of protecting citizens’ lives, homes and property.
