Andrew and Tristan Tate will continue to be held in custody in the United States, while their extradition process to the United Kingdom is still underway.

The decision was issued by a federal court in Miami. Judge Lauren Louis emphasized that the two brothers pose “considerable flight risks.”
According to the court, the Tate brothers failed to prove that there is no risk they will leave the U.S. or that there are special circumstances that would justify their release.
The brothers, who hold American and British citizenship, were arrested in Miami on July 18 following a request by British authorities. They intend to contest extradition to the United Kingdom, where they face charges including rape and human trafficking.
According to British prosecutors, Andrew Tate faces 42 charges, while his brother Tristan faces 17. Andrew is also facing other charges related to indecent materials involving minors and extreme pornography.
Both brothers have repeatedly denied these accusations. Their lawyer in the U.S., Joe McBride, said he disagrees with the court’s decision and will consider the possibility of appealing with his clients. He added that conditional release would give the brothers more room to prepare their defense.
Meanwhile, prosecutors have pointed out that the Tate brothers’ wealth, international network and multiple passports increase the possibility that they will leave U.S. jurisdiction.
British authorities have until September 16 to submit the formal extradition request to the State Department. Also, no date has yet been set for the hearing at which the extradition request for Andrew and Tristan Tate to Britain will be considered.
The matter remains in the legal proceedings phase and the accusations do not constitute a conviction. The Tate brothers continue to deny them.
