A pedestrian died this evening after being struck by a vehicle in Durrës.

According to preliminary police information, the incident occurred at around 21:45 in Neighborhood No. 15. The vehicle, driven by a person identified by the initials D. N., struck the pedestrian, Xh. Zh.
The collision proved fatal for the pedestrian, who died at the scene.
Following the accident, the driver was taken to the police station for further procedures.
The investigative team is at the scene and, under the direction of the Prosecutor’s Office, is working to fully document the circumstances and determine the cause of the accident.
