In an interview with News24, journalist Osman Stafa commented on Evis Sala’s resignation from her post as Minister of Health. The journalist said that Sala’s resignation had been premeditated.

He also mentioned speculation about a clash between her and Prime Minister Edi Rama.

According to him, the healthcare system is completely corrupt and has collapsed, adding that citizens are paying the price for the dire situation.

“I expected Evis Sala to be honest about her departure. At least, I expected her to be honest when she left, but she was not. It was a premeditated resignation. It came amid reports that Rama and Sala had clashed. It is said that there was a clash between Rama and Sala because the prime minister asked the minister to sign off on the super-company issue, which the minister refused to do, and their relationship came to an end.

The former minister told untruths. She says that thrombectomy is performed at QSUT, which is untrue. Since August 27, it has been said that the procedure would be offered to patients who needed it, but not a single patient has undergone it yet. I know of three or four patients who needed thrombectomy and DSA, and these procedures were not performed in the public healthcare system.
