The Democratic Union for Integration has challenged the promotion of construction works by Tetovo Mayor Bilall Kasami, claiming that he is misleading the public regarding the Tetovo–Prizren road project.
According to the opposition party, the location where the works were presented is not on the route of the Tetovo–Prizren road. DUI also stresses that the Municipality of Tetovo has no authority to implement this project, as the road is considered a state road.

“When reality does not produce success, the government produces lies,” DUI said in its response.
DUI lists several claims, emphasizing that the Tetovo–Prizren road does not pass through the promoted location, that the Municipality of Tetovo is not competent for such a project, and that the displayed works do not have a basic project, a construction permit, or expropriation of private properties.
In conclusion, DUI assesses that “without a project and without permits, a road is not built, but only a lie.”
