Kruja police have busted a narcotics cultivation case, arresting a 31-year-old with the initials N.Z., while declaring his accomplice, 43-year-old J.M., wanted. Both are residents of the village of Mukaj.
According to investigations, they are suspected of cultivating 42 cannabis plants in a forested area of Mukaj. During the crime scene search, police also seized 600 grams of narcotic substance.

The narcotic plants were destroyed, while the search continues for the 43-year-old and for full documentation of the criminal activity.
From the investigative actions, it is suspected that these two citizens had cultivated 42 suspected cannabis sativa plants in a forested area of Mukaj village.
Also, during the search at the cultivation site, police services found and seized 600 grams of suspected cannabis sativa.
Work continues to apprehend the wanted citizen and to fully legally document this criminal activity.
The procedural materials have been referred to the Prosecutor’s Office for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Cultivation of narcotic plants.”

Following intensive work to prevent, detect, and strike criminal activities in the field of narcotics, the services of the Kruja Police Commissariat, based on information obtained operationally and as a result of organized field checks, finalized the coded police operation “Mukja”.
As part of the operation, citizen N.Z., 31 years old, was arrested in flagrante delicto, and citizen J.M., 43 years old, was declared wanted, both residents of Mukaj village.
