Two major Wildberries distribution centers in the cities of Katovsk and Elektrostal were struck by Ukrainian drones on Saturday, according to Russian authorities. The attacks sparked fires and disrupted operations at the company’s logistics facilities, which process more than 20 million orders every day.
The Kremlin said the strikes on the warehouses of Russia’s largest online retailer caused significant losses both to the company and to businesses that use the platform for their operations.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov described the situation as “extremely difficult.” He stressed that the financial consequences have affected not only Wildberries, but also the small and medium-sized businesses that depend on the platform.
Peskov also rejected Ukraine’s claims that Wildberries is involved in supplying Russia with military equipment for the war against Ukraine, stating that the allegations were untrue.
Meanwhile, the drone conflict between Russia and Ukraine is increasingly affecting infrastructure and economic facilities in both countries.
