Dritan Goxhaj raises questions about Ilir Konushevci’s killing and mentions Fatos Klosi and Xhavit Haliti

Former Kosovo Liberation Army member Dritan Goxhaj has spoken about the events leading up to the killing of Ilir Konushevci. He has questioned the role of the people who, according to him, accompanied Konushevci that day, and called for clarification about the weapons connected to the case.

Goxhaj claims that another car was traveling behind Konushevci’s vehicle, carrying two people he identifies as SHIK officers.

“There were two people from SHIK, two SHIK officers. The two people, two SHIK officers, who accompanied Ilir Komisheci that day in a car behind him. This was the second car, not the first car, when Ilir Konushevci was attacked,” Goxhaj said.

According to him, after the incident, these people left and did not give statements.

Goxhaj also mentioned Fatos Klosi and Xhavit Haliti. He says the people accompanying Komisheci were assigned by Klosi at Haliti’s request.

He also called for clarification about who took the weapons that, according to his claim, were removed after the incident, and what happened to them afterward.

“The weapons were taken back; these SHIK people took them away and gave them back to Xhavit Haliti,” Goxhaj said.

He went on to raise questions about where the weapons went: “What did they do with the weapons? Who went? Why was an attempt made to resell those weapons?”

Goxhaj is also calling for it to be made known who took part in the discussions about Ilir Komisheci and what was discussed there regarding the weapons.
