Democratic Party MP Gjin Gjoni was involved in a physical confrontation with police officers during the nationwide protest held today.
As he sought explanations from the police officers, they used pepper spray on him.

After exposure to the spray, the Democratic Party MP felt unwell and was taken to hospital, where he received medical attention.
Pepper-laced water also caused health problems during the protest, affecting several protesters as well as News24 journalist Klevin Muka.
