The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) yesterday announced new prices for petroleum products, which take effect today at all fuel stations across the country, the INA news agency reports.

Under the methodology used to calculate them, retail fuel prices have increased by an average of 5.88 percent.
A liter of EUROSUPER BS-95 gasoline now sells for 90 denars, following an increase of 3 denars. EUROSUPER BS-98 has risen by the same amount, bringing its price to 92 denars per liter.
EURODIESEL has recorded the largest increase, with its price rising by 6 denars. As of today, a liter of diesel costs 94 denars.
Fuel prices have risen steadily over the past nearly 20 days. On June 30, diesel sold for 80 denars per liter, while today its price stands at 94 denars, an increase of 14 denars. During the same period, the price of a liter of EUROSUPER BS-95 gasoline rose from 84.50 to 90 denars./INA/
