The Minister of Justice, Jeton Shasivari, met today with Llazo Gjorgievski, who heads the Bar Association, to analyze the current state of the judicial system and the reform processes aimed at improving it.

During this meeting, the need for unwavering cooperation between the Ministry and the Association was highlighted, as it is considered an essential ally in the reform journey.
Shasivari underlined that achieving sustainable reforms necessarily requires an open, professional and in-depth dialogue with all legal and institutional actors.
Focusing on the drafting of new legal norms, he stressed that the voice of experts in the field must be heard, so that the changes strengthen legal certainty, increase the system’s efficiency, and provide stronger protection for citizens.
The partnership with the Bar Association will continue going forward, focusing on building a modern and efficient structure, fully in line with European standards.
“A strong justice system is built on sincere conversations, professionalism and institutional accountability. Only by working closely with the legal community can we create sustainable reforms for the benefit of citizens,” concluded Shasivari.
