Crisis Management Center reports 33 fires in the past 24 hours, four remain active

Within the past 24 hours, 33 fires in open areas have been recorded in several parts of the country, the Crisis Management Center (QMK) announced. The situation is more serious in areas where the flames have engulfed forested land.

Active fires are currently being reported near Moranë, Vrtekicë and Ramni Gaber, spreading toward Paligrad and above Vrazhale, where a mixed forest is burning. Fires are also continuing in the Vidush area, near Dragov Dol and Lokvicë in Makedonski Brod, affecting low vegetation, low-stemmed forests and shrubs.

Another fire remains active in Kërçovë, in the area of the village of Tajmishte, in the territory of Dardë, where the fire has engulfed a high-stemmed beech forest. The fourth fire is located in Gorna Gjonovicë, in the municipality of Gostivar, where low vegetation is burning.
