Crisis management center reports 31 open-air fires, three still active

According to data from the Crisis Management Center, as of 7:30 this morning, 31 fire outbreaks have been recorded in open areas. Of these, three are still spreading and four others have been brought under control by intervention teams.

The active flames are engulfing the area between the villages of Burinec, Lokov, Sellce, and Elevci in the territory of Struga Municipality, as well as near the village of Belica in Makedonski Brod Municipality. Another fire is developing near the village of Brest, located in Čučer-Sandevo Municipality.

Meanwhile, the four fires already under control include the one near the village of Benče in Makedonski Brod, near the village of Tajmište in Kičevo Municipality, and in the area of the village of Gračan in Gjorče Petrov Municipality. Also, in Delčevo, an illegal waste dump has been engulfed by flames, but the situation there is being kept under control.
