Crisis Management Center: Of the 31 fires reported, 23 have been extinguished and eight remain active

The Crisis Management Center reports that 31 fires in open areas were recorded over the past 24 hours. Of these, 23 have been extinguished, while eight remain active.

The active fires are located in eight municipalities. In the Prilep region, near the village of Bonçe, the flames have engulfed low vegetation and low-stem plants.

Another fire is burning in the area between the villages of Morane, Vrtekica and Ramni Gaber, with a branch extending toward Paligrad, as well as above the village of Vrazhale in the municipality of Zelenikovo. A mixed forest has been damaged there.

Near the village of Cvetovo, in the municipality of Studeniçan, the fire remains active along the old road leading to Elovo. Low vegetation and low forest are burning in the area.

In Makedonski Brod, active fires have been reported at several locations: near the village of Vidush, near Dragov Dolit and close to Lokvica. The fires have engulfed low vegetation, low-stem forests and shrubs.

In the Kërçova region, near the village of Tajmishtë, in the Darda area, a fire that has engulfed a tall-stem beech forest also remains active.

In the territory of Vrapçisht, fires are active near the villages of Lomnicë and Gjurgjevishtë, where a mixed forest is burning. In Mavrovo and Rostushë, one fire is located near the village of Cerovo, while in Zelino, also near the village of Cerovo, the flames have engulfed low vegetation.

Extinguished fires were reported in Krushevo, Bitola, Delçevo, Shtip, Struga, Vevçan, Likovë, Kumanovo, Valandovo, Saraj, Studeniçan, Vrapçisht, Tetovo, Çuçer Sandevë, Karposh, Strumica, Vasilovo, Prilep and Gostivar.

The incidents that have been brought under control included fires that burned low vegetation, forests, hay, dumps and waste, as well as a fire in an orchard. In the Gostivar region, a fire near the village of Tenovë engulfed low vegetation and two old houses.
