CMC: of 23 fires reported today, 8 remain active

The Crisis Management Center announces that on 04.09.2026, until 18:00, 23 fires in open areas were recorded. Of these, 8 remain active, 3 are under control, and 12 have been extinguished.

The active fires are located in the following areas:

In the Municipality of Gjorce Petrov, in the village of Gracani, the fire remains active on the territory of the Republic of Kosovo, in a forest area.

In the Municipality of Struga, the fire is located between the villages of Burinec, Lokov and Selci, in low forest.

In the Municipality of Makedonski Brod, in the village of Belica, in the locality of Kajorec, a pine forest is burning.

In the Municipality of Kratovo, the fire has engulfed the Kratovo landfill.

In the Municipality of Bosilovo, the fire is located between the villages of Monospitovo and Borievo, at a landfill.

In the Municipality of Veles, the fire that started in the village of Kocilari has moved to the territory of the Municipality of Sveti Nikole, in the village of Bekirlija, where low vegetation and a pine forest are affected.

In the Municipality of Mavrovo and Rostusha, the fire is active on Mount Bistra, in the locality of Kirilovec, with pastures and low vegetation.

In the Municipality of Saraj, the fire is located in the village of Gorna Arnakija, in a low-stem forest.

In the Municipality of Saraj, in the village of Kopanica, the fire has affected low-stem forest and low vegetation.

In the Municipality of Čučer-Sandevo, in the village of Brest, in the locality of Ramno of Skopska Crna Gora, the fire is in a mixed forest.

In the Municipality of Delcevo, the fire at the Delcevo city landfill has been brought under control.

At the entrance to Vinica, on the territory of the Municipality of Vinica, the fire that had affected low vegetation has been extinguished.

In the Municipality of Struga, the fire in the village of Oktisi, where a straw forest and low vegetation were affected, has been extinguished.

In the Karposh settlement of the Municipality of Kumanovo, the fire in low vegetation has been extinguished.

In the Municipality of Radovis, two fires have been extinguished: one in the village of Damjan, where there was low vegetation and bushes, and the other in the village of Podares, where low vegetation was affected.
