Crisis Management Center: Of 31 fires, 27 have been extinguished, three are under control and one remains active on the border with Kosovo

The Crisis Management Center reports that, as of 7:30 a.m. today, a total of 31 fires have been recorded in open areas. Of these, 27 have been extinguished, three are under control and one remains active.

The active fire was reported in the Municipality of Gjorče Petrov, near the village of Graçan, while the fire is currently spreading through a forested area within the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.

The fires under control are the one in the village of Kopanicë, in the Municipality of Saraj, where low-growth forest and low vegetation are burning; the fire near the village of Brest, in the municipality of Ramno, on Skopje’s Black Mountain, within the territory of the Municipality of Čučer-Sandevo, where a mixed forest has been affected; and the fire between the villages of Burinec and Lokovë in the Municipality of Struga, in a forested area with low-growth vegetation.
