The Crisis Management Center (CMC) announced that, by 7:30 a.m. over the past 24 hours, 29 fires in open areas had been recorded across the country. Of these, three fires remain active, one has been brought under control, and 25 have been extinguished.

Flames continue to burn in the territories of the municipalities of Studeniçan and Zelenikovë, in the area stretching from the villages of Morane, Vrtekica and Ramni Gaber toward Paligrad, as well as in the area above the village of Vrazhale, where a mixed forest has been affected. Another active fire has been reported in the village of Tërnovë in Gostivar, where a mixed forest is burning, while the fire above the village of Nezhilovë, in the Municipality of Çashka, has affected fir trees.
The fire near the village of Tajmishte in Kërçovë, in an area known as Darda, where a high-stem beech forest had been affected, has been brought under control.
During the same period, 25 fires were extinguished in various parts of the country. The municipalities and settlements where these incidents were recorded include Strumica, Vasileva, Dellçeva, Kumanova, Jegunovca, Gostivar, Vrapçishti, Demir Hisar, Probishtip, Ilinden, Saraj, Çair, Studeniçan, Haraçina, Makedonski Brod, Novaci, Petrovec, Berovo, Karbinci and Çeshinovë-Oblesheva.
According to the CMC, the fires affected low vegetation, straw, dry grass, bushes and forested areas. In some cases, waste, straw, buildings and a stork’s nest were also damaged.
