A collision between two vehicles was recorded this afternoon on the Shkodër–Lezhë road.

The incident occurred around 3:30 p.m. in the Kryebushat area. The vehicles were being driven by P. L., a 67-year-old French national, and Gj. N., an 83-year-old resident of Shkodër.
As a result of the crash, 83-year-old Gj. N. was transported to Shkodër Regional Hospital, but he succumbed to his injuries and died.
Meanwhile, the other driver, P. L., was escorted to the premises of the Shkodër Local Police Directorate, where further procedural actions will be carried out.
Investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances and causes of the crash.
