A serious road accident occurred this evening on the Lezhë–Shëngjin road, where two vehicles collided violently. As a result of the crash, four people were injured, including two children.

The injured were reportedly transported urgently to the Trauma Hospital in Tirana to receive more specialized medical care.
Preliminary sources say that, fortunately, all the injured are out of life-threatening danger. Police forces arrived at the scene and have launched an investigation to fully establish the circumstances and causes of the accident.
