An accident was reported on Friday evening near the city library in Korçë, where an ambulance hit an elderly man who was riding a bicycle.

After the incident, the ambulance driver personally took the injured man to hospital. The elderly man received medical treatment and, according to reports, is out of life-threatening danger.
A breathalyzer test showed that the driver of the vehicle, E.Q., about 44 years old, was under the influence of alcohol.
Police arrested him for driving under the influence and causing the accident.
