The Crisis Management Center (CMC) announced that, by 7:30 a.m. today, August 27, 31 fires in open areas had been recorded. Of these, four remain active, three have been brought under control, and 24 have been extinguished.

Active fires have been reported in the municipalities of Studeničan and Zelenikovo, in the municipalities of Gostivar and Makedonski Brod, in the Municipality of Čaška, as well as in the territory of the Municipality of Struga, in the village of Frangovo. Low forests and low vegetation are burning in these areas.
According to the CMC, the fires in the village of Tajmište in the Municipality of Kičevo, at the landfill in the Municipality of Delčevo, and in the Municipality of Brvenica have been brought under control.
