The participants have positioned themselves in front of the Assembly building and are calling on lawmakers to approve the legal amendments in the second reading.
During the protest, some citizens expressed their dissatisfaction with recent developments by throwing pyrotechnic devices toward the entrance of the Assembly, where police units are stationed.
As a security measure, the Kosovo Police has increased its forces and presence around the Assembly building and nearby institutions.
The gathering is taking place while the amendments to the Law on Specialist Chambers have still not been submitted for a second-reading vote in the Assembly of Kosovo.
