According to the Alliance MP, on September 2, 2026, the acting president made this decision without holding a public competition and without the candidate being interviewed by an independent commission—procedures that, he emphasized, are required by law.
He assessed that, in this case, the provisions of Article 4 of the Law on the Auditor General and the National Audit Office were violated, specifically paragraphs 4.4, 4.5.2 and 4.9.
Ramadani also said that Haxhiu used her official position to enable a person to benefit in violation of the law.
After filing the criminal complaint, he said: “The law is above everyone! No one should abuse their official position!”
