Berisha said that Arben Ahmetaj’s allegations complete what he described as “the true picture of this regime.”
Sali Berisha also said that, following the allegations, Arben Ahmetaj had received threats against his family.
“It was an allegation of extraordinary importance, proving that a NATO member country is engaging in the dirty arms trade in violation of Albanian and international law. But I tell Albanians that if there are inseparable twins, they are drugs and arms, arms and drugs. In this context, I believe that Arben Ahmetaj’s allegation completes the true picture of this regime. I also denounce the threats made against Arben Ahmetaj’s wife and family members on the orders of Rama and the structures of the narco-state. Following this allegation, threats against his family flooded in,” Berisha said.
Berisha mentioned businessman Ron Yeffet as another element in the chain of Rama’s mafia acts, adding that the DP had submitted to Parliament the signatures for the establishment of an investigative committee into the activities of the KAYO company.
“Ron Yeffet, who is the non-Albanian version of Ergys Agasi, is another element in the chain of Edi Rama’s mafia acts. Today, the signatures were submitted for a parliamentary investigative committee into the unconstitutional activities of Edi Rama and his company with Ron, Veliu and that armored-vehicle lady, godmother Puca,” the DP leader declared.
