VLEN is ready to enter elections, especially after the positive result achieved in the local elections, said the First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali.
According to him, what citizens now expect is the fulfillment of the promises made to them.

Arguing that this political force is not afraid of elections at any time, the Secretary General of VLEN stressed that they lead in 10 municipalities, which, according to him, represents a favorable starting point compared with opponents who are in the opposition. Nevertheless, he underlined that if the need for elections at this moment is compared with citizens’ expectations, then priority should be given to anything that represents a real need for them.
Asked whether VMRO-DPMNE could have a different approach from VLEN and seek early elections, Sali said that, regardless of VMRO-DPMNE’s interests, in this case the discussion is about the Albanian bloc, namely VLEN, and about what citizens’ expectations are.
When asked what would happen if Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski were to declare that the country would go to elections and immediately afterward the Negotiating Framework with the European Union would be implemented, Sali said that if a new political moment were created that would change the dynamics of developments in the country, and if this were important for the state, then they would certainly be ready.
“However, the fact that we as a political party are asking for early elections only to show that we would win the elections, I think this is catastrophic for us as politicians and for the citizens,” Sali added./Telegrafi/
