North Macedonia’s First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for European Affairs, Bekim Sali, took part today in a discussion hosted by the Atlantic Council in Washington, D.C., alongside Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski.

The meeting addressed strategic relations with the United States of America, North Macedonia’s contribution as a NATO member, as well as issues related to security, development and the European Union integration process.
According to Sali, Washington conveyed its willingness to continue the country’s engagement in strategic partnerships and to strengthen Euro-Atlantic security.
“The discussion focused on the strategic partnership with the United States of America, our responsibility as a NATO ally, security, development and the path toward the European Union,” Sali said.
He emphasized that North Macedonia will continue to support strategic partnerships while seeking to build a stronger, safer and more prosperous future.
