Balluku” Case Investigation/ SPAK Searches “Atelier 4,” Seizes Interior Design Project for Luxury Villa

As part of the investigation into former Deputy Prime Minister Belinda Balluku, SPAK searched the company “Atelier 4,” owned by the Eftimi brothers. Sources told journalist Klodiana Lala that during the search, authorities seized an interior design project linked to a luxury villa in one of the most exclusive areas in the south of the country.

According to the sources, investigators suspect that the property may be linked to Balluku and it is being investigated as a concealed asset.

Special prosecutors are analyzing the materials seized during the search and comparing them with other evidence and information gathered throughout the investigation.

The former deputy prime minister and former minister of Infrastructure and Energy is a defendant in the case concerning the tender for the construction of the Llogara Tunnel and the lots of Tirana’s Outer Ring Road.

Meanwhile, she is also under investigation for corruption and money laundering. As part of this investigation, SPAK has seized a villa in Dhërmi that is suspected of being a concealed asset.

About 10 days ago, Balluku appeared at SPAK, where she was formally notified of the new charges. At the same time, she was also informed of the decision to extend the investigation period by three months.
