Hykmete Bajrami, an MP-elect from the Democratic League of Kosovo, said she opposes holding another election and supports reaching an agreement that would benefit both Kosovo and the LDK.

Bajrami clarified that no agreement has yet been reached between the LDK and the Vetëvendosje Movement.
According to her, LDK leader Lumir Abdixhiku is insisting that the presidency be given to his party.
She said that the LDK taking the presidency would help balance power in Kosovo and serve as a safeguard for both the country and the Democratic League of Kosovo.
The MP-elect added that Albin Kurti is currently offering several ministerial posts which, according to her, he could take back after a few weeks. “I am categorically opposed to holding another election, and I support a good agreement—one that is good for Kosovo, but also for the LDK,” Bajrami said.
