The Pristina Basic Court found Arbër Havolli guilty of the murder of B. S., which occurred in Llapashticë e Epërme, Podujevë, in September 2025.

Havolli was sentenced to a total of 20 years in prison as a single sentence, after admitting his guilt during the trial.
For the murder charge, the first-instance court imposed a 19-year prison sentence, while for the offense of illegal possession of a weapon, he was sentenced to two years in prison.
During the initial hearing, Havolli expressed remorse for the incident and apologized to the family. “I am sorry for what happened. I did not want this to happen, and I apologize to the family. I do not accept guilt for the first offense, but I accept guilt for illegal possession of a weapon,” defendant Arbër Havolli declared on 13 May 2026.
