Appeal to SPAK from protest square: Investigate Rama’s and Balluku’s assets; why has Belinda not yet ended up behind bars?

During a gathering held in front of the Prime Minister’s Office, a citizen spoke out to demand accountability from the Special Prosecution Office. He strongly called on SPAK to scrutinise the assets of Prime Minister Edi Rama and several of his senior officials, adding that punitive measures should be taken against them.

“SPAK must thoroughly investigate the finances of Rama, his wife Linda, and Belinda. The same must be done with Balluku’s assets. Why does Belinda remain free and why has she not been imprisoned so far?” the protester said.

He went on with harsh slogans against the executive, stressing the participants’ determination not to back down from their demands.

“Rama behind bars, Belinda behind bars. There will be no resignation until justice is delivered. We demand that all politicians be held accountable before the law,” he concluded.
