Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan said Ankara had conveyed its concerns to both sides regarding the latest reported attacks in the Black Sea.

According to Fidan, Turkey has also taken several security measures, without providing further details.

Turkey’s appeal came after Russia claimed that Ukraine had targeted infrastructure and ships in the Black Sea. Ukraine, meanwhile, announced that it had struck a drilling platform used by Russian forces to direct drone attacks.

Ankara aims to prevent further escalation and wants the Black Sea to remain safe for navigation.
