Entering the premises of the Special Court, Altin, the son of Jakup Krasniqi, expressed his conviction that the verdict expected today for the former leaders of the Kosovo Liberation Army will be acquitting.

He predicted that Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi and Rexhep Selimi will be declared innocent of the charges in The Hague and will return to Kosovo as free people.
According to him, regardless of what the court decides, he himself and the entire Albanian people feel proud of the leading figures of the KLA and the war they fought.
In a further statement, he stressed: “I believe the decision will be acquitting. Whatever the decision may be, I am proud of each of them, of the KLA and of everything they have done for us… For us and for them it is great support that the people are with the KLA. Something we wish is for the people to know the value of the KLA.”
