The protest by activists and citizens against the government continued in Tirana this Thursday as well, marking its 24th day.
During the gathering, one of the protesters informed those present that on July 4, Albanians from the diaspora are expected to return to the square to join the protest.

He said their arrival is intended to support the fulfillment of the demands the protesters have put forward.
“I have an announcement after the protesters came forward with several political points against the autocrat. We have received many messages from the diaspora, and on July 4 the entire diaspora will come here to support you so that those points are realized. On July 4 the entire diaspora will be here. Thank you,” the protester said.
It should be recalled that on Saturday, June 20, members of the Albanian diaspora took part in the protest, while July 4 was announced today as the next date for their arrival in Tirana.
