Due to heavy pressure on the energy system following US strikes against energy infrastructure in southern Iran, Iran’s Ministry of Energy has asked citizens to reduce their electricity use.
In its official statement, the ministry urged residents not to use air conditioners during peak-demand hours. The measure aims to ensure a stable power supply in the southern provinces, where temperatures are extreme and thermal power plants have sustained damage.
