After Speeches Outside the Prime Minister’s Office, Protesters March Through Tirana: Diaspora Demands Edi Rama’s Resignation

After the speeches outside the Prime Minister’s Office concluded, protesters began marching through the streets of Tirana. At the 77th protest, Albanians are demanding the departure of Prime Minister Edi Rama and his government.

The march continues amid chants of “Albania demands a revolution” and “More tomorrow.”

Protesters say their demand for the government’s removal and their opposition to the 36-year-old political class have continued for weeks, despite the high temperatures and the summer season.
