Arlind Qori, leader of the Together Movement, said on the “First Minute” program on News24 that the civic protest, which has continued for more than 100 days, aims at the immediate dissolution of Parliament and the removal of the Rama government. According to him, this should be followed by early, free and democratic elections.

Qori declared that the current governing force no longer has the necessary legitimacy to lead the country.
Speaking about the continuation of the protests, he said they are becoming an example that is also attracting the attention of international media. According to Qori, one of the reasons for this resilience is that the movement is not led by political parties, but by society, young people and engaged citizens.
He also emphasized that the Together Movement has contributed to the protest every day, without seeking to take political prominence.
Regarding statements by majority lawmakers about cases of verbal or physical violence, Qori responded that violence has been used against protesters, who, according to him, have been dragged away by law enforcement officers.
Qori expressed support for activists who have confronted figures such as Iris Luarasi. He argued that officials being confronted with the consequences and painful truths of governance cannot be described as violence, but constitutes a fundamental element of democracy. According to him, the majority has become accustomed to operating at a distance from reality and therefore calls every direct demand for accountability over abuses and corruption in government an “attack.”
