Albin Kurti, leader of the Vetëvendosje Movement and acting prime minister, did not make a statement to the media after the meeting at the Presidency between the leaders of political entities, convened by acting President Albulena Haxhiu.

As he was leaving the Presidency building, journalists asked Kurti why he was not calling the constitutive session and whether he had discussed the matter with presiding officer Avni Dehari.
Kurti gave only a brief response: “I do not call a session.”
The meeting initiated by Haxhiu aimed to examine ways of overcoming the institutional deadlock, as well as the possibility of reaching an agreement on the president.
