For the first time since his release from pre-trial detention, a measure that the Special Court had kept in place for more than two years, former Health Minister Ilir Beqaj appeared today at the premises of the Special Prosecution Office Against Corruption and Organized Crime.

Beqaj, who has been placed under the security measure of “house arrest,” arrived at SPAK accompanied by a police officer.
His appearance before the prosecution office is part of the investigation procedures and the implementation of the legal measures ordered by the Special Court.
