After 8 months on the run, GJKKO upholds the “detention in prison” measure for Ergys Agasi

Ergys Agasi appeared today before GJKKO, which reviewed the security measure against him following his arrest, around 8 months after he had been declared wanted. The court decided to uphold his “detention in prison” in connection with the case related to the AKSHI file.

His defense attorney, Maks Haxhia, said that the Prosecution had brought a new charge, that of passive corruption. He also announced that the court’s decision would be appealed.
