Speaking from Mother Teresa Square, activist Visuar Dalipi said: “We are all here to change Albania’s history, to change the corrupt system.”
Protesters marched through Tirana, chanting “Albania Demands a Revolution,” “Rama in Prison, Berisha in Prison,” “Your End Has Come” and “Down with the Patronage Activists.”
Amid chants of “Your End Has Come” and “More Tomorrow,” participants sent the message that the protest would continue until Rama leaves office.
Their revolt is also directed against the entire old political class, which they accuse of stealing and acting against the interests of Albanian citizens.
At the same time, protesters called on SPAK to investigate corrupt politicians and arrest Prime Minister Edi Rama.
