Adem (Muhamet) Beqiri’s family has announced that his remains have been identified in a mass grave in the Zubin Potok area, 27 years after his disappearance. Following the identification, he will be reburied.

Adem Beqiri was born in 1951 and was part of the Group of Intellectuals. According to his family, he was killed by Serbian forces during the war in Kosovo, while his fate remained unknown for more than two decades.
The identification of his remains now gives his family the opportunity to lay him to rest.
His reburial will take place on October 3, 2026, at the cemetery in the village of Pantinë, while the funeral ceremony will begin at 13:00.
The family has announced that condolences will be received at the Palace Hotel from October 4 to 6, from 09:00 to 17:00.
