The leader of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Lumir Abdixhiku, described the meeting with the head of the Vetëvendosje Movement, Albin Kurti, as a positive development for moving discussions forward on the political situation in the country.
After the meeting concluded, Abdixhiku said the talks focused on institutional stability and the “necessary avoidance of new elections.”

“A good, positive step to open the next chapters for meetings and discussion,” Abdixhiku told the media.
He clarified that the meeting did not involve discussions on the division of posts, but rather on principles and issues related to the functioning of institutions.
According to Abdixhiku, the sides addressed the need for institutional stability and the possibility of avoiding new elections, while also indicating that communication between them may continue in the coming days.
