“After the full verification of the signatures, the date and venue of the assembly will be made known. The LDK has been and must remain the pillar of its strength. Therefore, we must not avoid any democratic process. We will not take away anyone’s right to vote, and we will not hold any post against the will of the majority,” declared Abdixhiku.

Meanwhile, the LDK leader has announced that talks on forming the government have been suspended. According to him, recent developments and involvement in the party’s internal processes make it impossible to continue negotiations at this stage.

“At this point, I must also inform the citizens of our country that, due to this initiative, we have been forced to suspend the engagements and institutional meetings of recent weeks for the creation of the government, which citizens have rightfully been waiting for a long time. Under these circumstances, because of this initiative, it would be neither serious nor appropriate to continue negotiations for the creation of the government, while my current mandate and that of the LDK representatives is being questioned,” he said.
