82-year-old man from Kosovo dies in Velipojë after suspected cardiac arrest at sea

An 82-year-old citizen from Kosovo died this Thursday at Velipojë beach.

According to preliminary police information, the incident occurred at around 3:30 p.m. in the area known as “Plazhi i Vogël.” The elderly man, identified by the initials E. M., is suspected of having suffered cardiac arrest while swimming in the sea and subsequently drowned.

The investigative team is working to fully establish and document the circumstances of the incident.
