With temperatures in Vlora reaching as high as 41 degrees Celsius, the Vlora Municipality Fire Service has been deployed to help mitigate the effects of the heat.

At midday on Monday, a fire engine carried out an operation in the Skela area, spraying water into the air for several minutes. The effort provided temporary relief to residents and holidaymakers in this part of the city.
The initiative was welcomed by residents, who have been facing the extreme temperatures gripping Vlora during the first days of August.
