The protesters demanded that Divjakë continue to remain a municipality. Through their chants, they addressed the prime minister and other officials, as well as the mayor, calling on him to protect its status.
During the speeches, it was emphasized that the municipality should remain in Divjakë, as there are also smaller municipalities with poorer performance that are not included in the merger plan.
The 19th nighttime protest ended with a march through the city’s streets, while residents said they would continue gathering in the square every day.
