A 16-year-old has been detained on suspicion of seriously injuring a 14-year-old with a sharp object in Saraj, Skopje.
As police said, the case was registered on July 11 at around 15:00, when an initial fight broke out between the two minors in front of a hospitality venue in Saraj. Then, after a short interval, they met again near a commercial building, where the 16-year-old is suspected of attacking the 14-year-old with a sharp object, causing him serious bodily injuries. According to the same statement, the 14-year-old reacted to the attack and injured the other boy with a hard object.

Police authorities said the 16-year-old was detained in the early hours of today, and an official interview was conducted with him in the presence of a parent and a lawyer. After the case documentation is completed, criminal charges are expected to be filed against him.
