Albanian education has recorded another major achievement on the international stage. Loris Qose, a student at the “7 Marsi” nine-year school in Cërrik, was awarded the gold medal in the Grand Final of the International STEM Olympiad, where representatives from 56 countries competed.
The 15-year-old is no stranger to success. Previously, Loris Qose had taken first place in Mathematics and third place in Chemistry at the “Neo Science Olympiad,” held in Orlando, USA, where he represented Albania and was awarded a gold medal in Mathematics and a bronze medal in Chemistry.

In a statement posted on social media, Loris said the gold medal in STEM is the result of his hard work, commitment and sacrifice, adding that he feels proud to have raised the Albanian flag once again in the international arena. He also expressed gratitude to his teacher, Flutura Hoxholli, as well as to everyone who supported him throughout this journey toward success.
